1. Membership and Terms of Use
An AircraftTechNetwork account is intended for personal use. Users must keep registration information accurate, protect account credentials and avoid unauthorized account sharing.
- Technical content, exam materials, guides and tools are provided for education and general information and do not replace approved maintenance data, manufacturer documentation, operator procedures or instructions issued by an authorized organization.
- Users may not use the platform to disrupt systems, obtain unauthorized access, scrape data at scale, compromise exam integrity, reproduce question banks without permission or infringe third-party rights.
- Unless expressly stated otherwise, intellectual-property rights in platform content and software belong to AircraftTechNetwork or the relevant rights holders. Bulk copying, republication or commercial reuse beyond personal study is not permitted without authorization.
- Features may change over time. Account access may be limited for security, abuse-prevention or legal reasons. These terms do not waive mandatory consumer or data-protection rights.
2. Privacy / Data Protection Summary
For account operation, AircraftTechNetwork may process first and last name, email, country, account/security logs and, when voluntarily added, phone number, profile photo, professional and education details, plus future exam/learning activity.
- Purposes include account creation and verification, session security, profile management, learning/exam progress, support, abuse prevention and compliance with legal obligations.
- Required data is processed where necessary for providing the service, performing the user agreement, complying with legal duties and protecting legitimate security interests. Any separate processing that legally requires consent will be requested separately and clearly.
- Data may be shared only with hosting, authentication, email-delivery, security and infrastructure providers needed to operate the service, and with competent authorities where legally required. Cross-border transfers, where applicable, are handled with safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.
- Data is retained while the account is active and as long as needed for the stated purposes, plus reasonable periods required for security and legal compliance. Depending on applicable law, users may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction/objection and data portability.
