About AircraftTechNetwork
An independent, international aircraft maintenance knowledge and career platform.
Vision
AircraftTechNetwork’s vision is to build a strong international knowledge network where aircraft maintenance professionals, aspiring technicians and people pursuing aviation careers can access reliable general information, career resources and practical tools in one place. The long-term objective is not merely to publish content, but to make it easier for maintenance professionals working across different countries to access structured information on common terminology, safety culture, human factors, licensing and professional development. Without replacing controlled technical data issued by manufacturers or maintenance organizations, AircraftTechNetwork aims to create a clear general-information layer between newcomers and experienced professionals. Over time, the platform is intended to grow into an internationally recognized independent aviation knowledge hub with multilingual content, aircraft-family guides, career resources, employer profiles, practical calculators and international job opportunities.
Mission
Our mission is to present general aircraft-maintenance concepts, the ATA chapter structure, aircraft-family information, career and licensing topics, and useful technician tools in a clear, accessible and organized way. Safety culture is central to the platform: users should never be encouraged to replace approved maintenance data with website content, and the correct use of current approved documentation must remain the primary reference for real maintenance actions. AircraftTechNetwork also aims to make international career development easier to understand through general resources covering technical English, international CV preparation, interviews and MRO career paths. As the platform grows, data dates and source context will be shown transparently so that changing fleet and production statistics can be interpreted correctly.
Editorial boundaries
AircraftTechNetwork is not an aircraft manufacturer, airline, Part-145 maintenance organization, regulatory authority or approved maintenance-data provider. Nothing published on this site — including explanations, numbers, technical summaries, calculators or general references — may replace AMM, FIM, TSM, WDM, IPC, SRM, MEL/CDL, MPD, SB, AD, manufacturer instructions, regulatory requirements or company procedures. Aircraft configuration, modification status, serial-number applicability and operator procedures can differ significantly, so real maintenance must always be performed using current approved data applicable to the specific aircraft. Site content is intended for education, general awareness and career information only. Users must not make maintenance decisions solely from this site, must not work outside their authorization and should always follow approved documentation and company procedures in case of any conflict.
Roadmap
The AircraftTechNetwork roadmap is organized in stages. The first stage focuses on the core knowledge library, ATA chapter reference, aircraft-family pages, career hub and technician tools. Future stages are intended to add broader educational aircraft content without reproducing controlled maintenance data, a technical terminology library, human-factors and safety-culture guides, EASA Part-66 career resources and profiles of international MRO organizations. A later stage is planned to introduce a job board with filtering by country and specialization, regular industry updates and broader language support. As the platform expands, data freshness, transparent sourcing, respect for copyright and protection of maintenance safety will remain fundamental principles.
