Overview

The A350 is Airbus’s new-generation long-range widebody platform. The A350-900 and larger A350-1000 are the principal passenger variants. Extensive composite use in the fuselage and wings, modern cockpit architecture, a wide cabin and long-range capability are central features. The type plays an important role in intercontinental networks and fleet-renewal programs.

Data sources and freshness

Fleet and production figures were compiled from Airbus, Boeing and current operator lists available in August 2026. Because fleet counts change continuously, each figure should be treated as a dated snapshot.
