Meet knowledge requirements

UK CAA requires applicants to meet Part 66.A.25 basic knowledge requirements through acceptable evidence/examinations.

Demonstrate practical experience

Applicants must demonstrate maintenance experience on operating aircraft in accordance with the UK Part-66 experience rules.

Apply to the UK CAA

The Aircraft Maintenance Licence application is submitted to the UK Civil Aviation Authority with the required supporting evidence.

Add aircraft type ratings and exercise privileges

Specific aircraft certification privileges may require an applicable type rating and compliance with employer/company authorization requirements.
